Finally got to see Monsters vs. Aliens today…after hearing all the hype and the excitement from Audrey and Ann Li (who absolutely loves Dr. Cockroach Ph.D. lol)

Well, like the title says, it’s about a bunch of monsters versus some aliens in order to save Earth. I thought it was really funny…especially B.O.B! (short for Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate) He’s a brainless gelatinous mass (that blue thing above) that is indestructible and eats everything lol haha and somehow falls in love for some green Jell-O in the end XD Then there’s Ginormica aka. Suuuuuuuuusan who’s a human hit by a meteorite and has somehow grown 100 times taller and stronger, Dr. Cockroach Ph.D; a mad scientist who ended up being a cockroach after an experiment gone wrong and The Missing Link, a fish-ape thingy who’s rather out of shape lol

It looks a bit deranged actually…haha and it seems attracted to bright lights XD and in the end, somehow THIS ^^ sprouts wings and becomes a pretty butterfly lol I thought the movie was pretty funny! But it’s not Pixar movie…I’m not biased, it’s the truth! Stories by Pixar have this magical quality about them and the tales are heartwarming. And they always outdo themselves with every movie…I can’t wait to see UP! (currently has a whopping 98% freshness on RottenTomatoes.com)

Oh, and after meeting up with Audrey and Stef, we went karaoke-ing. Turns out Stef has this alter-ego in her that she’s been hiding! You know, like Beyonce has Sasha Fierce…lol today, Stef unleashed her inner rapper! She needs a rapper name…suggestions, anyone? XD haha I have to say…she was actually pretty good! But Stef + hip hop lyrics don’t really go well together…we ended up laughing non stop everytime an inappropriate sounding lyric came up which I shall not mention for fear of incurring the wrath of Stevie.

Karaoke queen in action

Finally got the Bluetooth to work on my laptop. Turns out the free, Bluetooth dongle is a piece of crap. No wonder it was given to us free. Anyways, I’ve been working at the Popular Book Fair at Yuk Choy primary school from Friday to Sundays for 2 weeks. Not much interesting stuff going on…I was supposed to be promoting Spritzer’s new flavored drink, Tinge (not sure how new it actually is lol), give out samples to the people passing by and sell mineral water and Spritzer stuff. Oh, and I was drowning in shirt on the first day. The salesman for Spritzer came by to drop off a huge pack of ice and 2 hideous and oversized shirts. The first one (hideous purple one) had the sleeves coming down to my elbows (=_=)”. I was drowning in shirt. Literally. I shall not post the picture here…

Audrey and Ann Li came to visit on the first day…and but they started laughing like mad when they saw me. (-_-) And then, one of them snapped a pic of me. Ishhhhhh. On my last day of work, Amy came with her sister. Again, more laughs. This time, from Amy. *glares* Went around with her searching for interior design books while Angelyn kept reminding her to hurry up lol Anyways, here’s a couple of pics…

And what would a book fair be without purchasing some books? There goes a chunk of my salary…the books were so unbelievably cheap that no book lover could walk away empty handed! There were books with 50%, 70% and 90% off…and I noticed people buying at least a few bags worth of books. lol here’s my haul… I got 2 Adrian Mole books! I’ve always wanted to read them…oh, and 3 Meg Cabot books lol

Yes, another tag. Sorry I haven’t been updating regularly…I’ve been working during the weekend. Will post about it as soon as I upload the pics from my phone. Well, my laptop doesn’t have built in Bluetooth and I installed this Bluetooth application using a CD that I had for my desktop. And when I plugged in the Bluetooth thing, it doesn’t work at all like it does for my desktop. Soooo I have to transfer the pics from my phone to my desktop, and transfer the pics to a pen drive and then to my laptop. Oh. I just realized I have zero pen drives now. >.< Have to get them back soon. Well, the worst case scenario is use a floppy drive lol if I can find one XD
