Straight No Chaser
I know Christmas is over, but I recently discovered this amazing acapella group comprising of 10 guys called Straight No Chaser from iTunes. Every week, iTunes offers free downloads of songs, exclusive movie clips and stuff. They're called Discovery Downloads if I'm not mistaken...but you'll need an iTunes account for the US store first. Well, the previous week, they offered Auld Lang Syne by Straight No Chaser, Stephen Colbert's Another Christmas among other stuff...I got a Mythbusters Christmas Special episode too!!! Oh, and they also had episode 1 of The Secret Life of the American Teenager for free, too.
Anyways, to those of you who have not seen this, check it out (be sure to watch it in HQ)...Straight No Chaser's really good! They're so precise, and I love the way they mixed different Christmas songs into 12 Days of Christmas!!! After listening to the whole album titled Holiday Spirits, even though it's acapella, I don't miss the instruments at all.
And if you're searching for their videos on YouTube, you'll notice that there's 2 different groups for Straight No Chaser...the 12 Days of Christmas guys are the original lineup, and the others are the present members (I think) from Indiana University. The original members sound waaaaay better IMO...

Ant Invasion!
Great. I have an invasion in the form of red ants in my room...
They got into the place where I kept my store of bread for the week T.T had to throw away one of the buns cos they were inside the plastic bag as well... O__O And one went under one of the keys on my laptop's keyboard...*sigh* must bring back some ant poison next week...

Wifi Sucks...
The wifi here is driving me up the wall...I get online for a few minutes and next thing I know, it's disconnected...grrrrrr...which sucks...
I've resorted to reading my brand new (and super heavy) Organic Chem book to pass the time, believe it or not...no pics this time though...maybe later (meaning the weekend)
PS: The Deputy Dean is cold. Her favorite word seems to be non-negotiable. Thanks a lot. You screwed up my schedule.

The 100 ¥ Shop
Went to this shop called the 100¥ shop that's in front of Ipoh Parade the other day...everything in the shop's RM4.90 and the stuff ain't bad! The stuff comes from Japan and there's everything from cool looking lunch boxes to plates and stuff...they sell food too! I was really fascinated by the stuff lol
Bought a couple of things from there... 
I think it's spaghetti or something...or noodles...looks like spaghetti though from the packet haha It comes with noodles and a packet of seasoning or something. It looks yummy from the illustrations haha
They're soooo cute! They had a frog too, but the seal and the duck looked much more adorable. The frog's eyes were too small...it kinda looked eyeless or something haha And they're just RM4.90!!!
I'll definitely be visiting this shop again in the future ^_^ They have everything!

Massive Layout Revamp!
I didn't really notice that my old layout loaded THAT slow...so I decided to revamp the whole thing...there wasn't enough space anyway, and everything (pics, embedded videos, etc.) had to be resized to miniature. Plus, all the resizing takes sooo much time...okay not really, but the tweaking does!
Anyways, I wanted to go to Aberdeen cafe with a couple of friends but it was closed. So we ended up going to Black Canyon instead...and ended up sitting there for I dunno quite long...3 hours according to Seng Aik...love the food there...it's really good! Somehow I order either Spaghetti/Fusilli with Chicken Ham Sauce every single time...was tempted to order Pad-Thai though that day lol I wasn't sure if it was spicy, so...yeah...I must try that Pad-Thai someday! It looks yummy from the illustrations on the menu.
