Finally got to see Monsters vs. Aliens today…after hearing all the hype and the excitement from Audrey and Ann Li (who absolutely loves Dr. Cockroach Ph.D. lol)

Well, like the title says, it’s about a bunch of monsters versus some aliens in order to save Earth. I thought it was really funny…especially B.O.B! (short for Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate) He’s a brainless gelatinous mass (that blue thing above) that is indestructible and eats everything lol haha and somehow falls in love for some green Jell-O in the end XD Then there’s Ginormica aka. Suuuuuuuuusan who’s a human hit by a meteorite and has somehow grown 100 times taller and stronger, Dr. Cockroach Ph.D; a mad scientist who ended up being a cockroach after an experiment gone wrong and The Missing Link, a fish-ape thingy who’s rather out of shape lol

Oh, and my favorite: The Insectosaurus!

It looks a bit deranged actually…haha and it seems attracted to bright lights XD and in the end, somehow THIS ^^ sprouts wings and becomes a pretty butterfly lol I thought the movie was pretty funny! But it’s not Pixar movie…I’m not biased, it’s the truth! Stories by Pixar have this magical quality about them and the tales are heartwarming. And they always outdo themselves with every movie…I can’t wait to see UP! (currently has a whopping 98% freshness on RottenTomatoes.com)

Oh, and after meeting up with Audrey and Stef, we went karaoke-ing. Turns out Stef has this alter-ego in her that she’s been hiding! You know, like Beyonce has Sasha Fierce…lol today, Stef unleashed her inner rapper! She needs a rapper name…suggestions, anyone? XD haha I have to say…she was actually pretty good! But Stef + hip hop lyrics don’t really go well together…we ended up laughing non stop everytime an inappropriate sounding lyric came up which I shall not mention for fear of incurring the wrath of Stevie.
